M. Sc is an abbreviation of the English term Master of Science. It is an undergraduate master’s degree that is written after the name.

An M. Sc is a continuation of a Bachelor’s degree and may precede a doctoral title. M. Sc degrees can be obtained in a variety of fields and areas of specific specialisation.

In contrast to the Master of Business Administration (MBA), the M. Sc is intended for recent graduates with at least a Bachelor’s degree and no work experience, who by studying the M. Sc programme will gain the necessary theoretical basis for their future career and a better starting position in the labour market. On the other hand, the MBA programme is more suitable for managers with experience who want to supplement their theoretical knowledge for their work, but especially want to immediately apply the acquired knowledge in their practice, exchange experience or gain new contacts. The MSc studies focus on a narrow spectrum related to research skills and knowledge.

Upon graduation, the graduate is equipped with knowledge, skills and methodological competences in the areas of his/her specialisation, which he/she has acquired through an individual study structure, exactly according to his/her professional needs. This experience can be used for further study and research.

After graduation, the graduate is equipped with knowledge, skills and methodological competences in the areas of his/her specialisation, which he/she has acquired through individual study, exactly according to his/her professional needs. This experience can be used for further study and research.
